Microsoft encourages people around the world to accept “digital jurisdiction” and respect and dignity to each other on the Internet. It may sound simple, but new Microsoft research shows that people are worried about massive online interaction and fear that the risk will increase in the future.
The research was also a cause for the emergence Digital Civility Index, new security “metric” on the Internet and risk exposure indicator.
The study was conducted in 14 countries, measuring the attitudes and perceptions of teenagers (ages 13-17) and adults (aged 18-74) about the state of digital affinity today.
