From 12th to 15th March 2019, members of advisory board and staff of Safer Internet Centre (SIC) in Bosnia and Herzegovina have visited Safer Internet Centre in Prague, Czech Republic. The goal of this study visit was exchanging experiences, knowledge and good practices in managing and handling Safer Internet Centre.
Colleagues from CZ.NET association that is managing Safer Internet Center in Prague have presented activities of Awareness Center, Hotline and Helpline that are operating as a part of this Center. They shared their ideas and experiences, especially when it comes to topic of prevention and awareness raising of the general population about online abuse of children. During the visit, further cooperation and use of preventive resources and tools developed by CZ.NET, adapted for the conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been proposed.
Study visit has been evaluated as very useful by the participants. They believe that it contribute to the creation of a positive environment for improving mechanisms and strengthening prevention activities and addressing issues related to neglect, abuse and exploitation of children in the digital environment.
