International Forum of Solidarity - Emmaus

Humanitarian organization International Forum of Solidarity – EMMAUS (IFS) was established in the beginning of 1999 in Gracanica, BiH with the aim of providing assistance to all vulnerable population groups who are in need of assistance. Registered as a local, non-governmental and non-profit organization approved to operate on the whole BiH territory, IFS is also a member of the international organization EMMAUS International, which operates on four world continents.
During its long-term work and existence in BiH and the wider region, IFS implemented a variety of projects providing assistance for many thousands of users, including refugees, displaced persons, illegal migrants, victims of human trafficking, old and helpless people, homeless persons, individuals with mental disabilities, youth, HIV positive individuals and drug addicts, as well as other vulnerable categories. Today, with its 160 employees and four (4) offices in BiH (Doboj East, Sarajevo, Tuzla and Srebrenica), IFS represents one of the largest self-sustainable NGOs in the country and the wider region, implementing projects in cooperation with government institutions, NGO partners, as well as international organizations and donors. In october 2008, IFS was awarded with the ISO 9001:2008 Certificate, verifying the quality of services being provided to its target groups - vulnerable individuals in BiH.
